Yolanda A. Alderson is a native Texan born and raised in Somerset, Texas.

She was in the workforce for 38 years as a banker, tax collector, and public school secretary. She started drawing at an early age but never pursued her dream of becoming an artist until she retired in 2009.

Yolanda’s many talents include quilting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, embroidery, one-stroke painting, and rustic egg painting. She has taken art classes with Joyce Bendele and Beatriz Fedele.

She is a devoted mother, wife and artist. She loves drawing with charcoal, graphite, colored pencils, and currently enjoys painting with watercolors.
